Refund and Cancellation Policy for Symmetry Health NYC

Thank you for choosing Symmetry Health Chiropractic for your chiropractic care. We are committed to providing you with high-quality treatment and care. Please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully, as it outlines the terms and conditions that apply when booking, canceling, or requesting a refund for our services.
1. Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, to better serve all our patients, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

Cancellation Fee: If you cancel or reschedule your appointment less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, a $50 cancellation fee will apply. This fee is necessary to cover the administrative costs and to allow us to offer the time slot to other patients in need of care.

​No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, the $50 cancellation fee will be applied.

Late Arrivals: Arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment may result in rescheduling or reduced treatment time, and you may be charged the cancellation fee.
Please contact us as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule your appointment if you cannot make it to avoid the cancellation fee.
2. Refund Policy for Services Rendered
We are committed to your satisfaction, but please note that once a service is rendered, no refunds will be issued. If you have any concerns about your treatment or care, please notify us immediately, and we will work with you to address your needs.
3. Refund Policy for Prepaid Packages
For patients who purchase prepaid packages of services, we offer the following terms regarding refunds:
• Unused Visits: If you decide not to use some of the visits in your prepaid package, we will issue a refund for the unused visits, less a 10% administrative fee.
• Refund Timeframe: Requests for refunds must be made within 60 days of the purchase date. Refunds requested after this period will not be issued.
• Partial Refunds: If you have used a portion of your package, we will calculate the refund based on the number of unused visits at the time of your refund request.
4. No Refunds for Services Already Rendered
Once a service has been rendered, no refunds will be provided for the treatment or session. This includes individual chiropractic adjustments, consultations, or other services performed during an appointment. If you are dissatisfied with the treatment provided, we encourage you to reach out to us directly so we can discuss your concerns and work toward a resolution.
5. Treatment Outcomes
While we aim to provide effective chiropractic care to improve your health and wellness, it is important to understand that treatment outcomes may vary. Chiropractic adjustments and therapies are designed to support your overall health, but we cannot guarantee specific results, as individual responses to treatment can differ.
6. Health Insurance and Reimbursement
Symmetry Health Chiropractic does not accept any form of insurance payments. However, we can provide you with a Superbill upon request. This Superbill may allow you to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider, depending on your coverage.
Please note that we do not guarantee reimbursement for any services rendered. You are responsible for filing your own claims with your insurance company, and the outcome of your claim is determined by your insurer. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider to verify your coverage and eligibility for reimbursement.
7. Changes to Services or Packages
Symmetry Health Chiropractic reserves the right to make adjustments to our services, treatment plans, and pricing at any time. In the event of changes that affect your prepaid package or care plan, we will notify you promptly. You will have the option to request a refund for unused services under the terms outlined above.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for unused visits or a cancellation of services, please contact our office at info@symmetryhealthnyc.com Please include your full name, treatment details, and the reason for your refund request. All refund requests will be processed within 10-15 business days.
9. Late Payments or Unpaid Balances
Any unpaid balances for services rendered or missed appointments must be settled before future appointments can be scheduled. If there is an outstanding balance, future services will be denied until payment is made. We also reserve the right to keep a method of payment on file.
